Neighbourly and Rubicon Pharmacies is looking for a Scheduler/Junior Recruiter. This is a remote position and the successful candidate can be based anywhere in Saskatchewan or Manitoba.This position will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist covering Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This position will assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist scheduling relief pharmacists and with recruitment.  You will work with internal and external relief pharmacists to cover vacancies when staff is on vacation, sick or otherwise unavailable.  The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmacy relief scheduling, working with relief agencies and ability to help grow network of internal and external relief pharmacists.

The Scheduler/Junior Recruiterwill be part of a newly formed talent acquisition team and will work with fellow TAS members in other provincial jurisdictions. This role will report into Talent Acquisition Manager. The structure of this team is continually evolving to meet the demands of a growing network.   

Job Description

  • Organizes relief coverage/schedules for planned vacations and time off
  • Organizes emergency relief coverage for last minute illness, no shows etc.  
  • Communicates schedules to Pharmacy Managers and Regional Directors
  • Supports Accounts Payable Team with invoicing process
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruitment efforts by posting job ads on Indeed, LinkedIn and working with external recruitment agencies.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of relief and recruitment processes by supporting Company projects and initiatives

Qualifications and Personal Requirements:

  • Post secondary education in Human Resources, Behavioural Sciences or related certifications is an asset
  • Previous experience in scheduling (preferably in pharmacy)
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy Industry
  • Experience working with a diverse team and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion when hiring
