Rubicon Pharmacies is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Merger and Acquisition Assistant. Join our dynamic and growing retail pharmacy organization, which has over 100 locations across Western Canada! This position will work out of the Regina Office and must be willing to travel across Western Canada as required.
As a member of the Corporate Development team, you work collaboratively across functions (including Executive, Operations, Finance and Human Resources) to assist in identifying and evaluating acquisition opportunities. You understand the industry landscape and regional nuances, and provide the management team with the needed insight to drive intelligent, sound decision-making. With an air of humility, you bring strong quantitative skills, strategic thinking and sound business judgment, along with the ability to think about what is and what could be.
Relationship building across our store network as well as with candidates is a critical function of this role. Applicants should also possess superior communication and customer service skills, ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at one time, and blend well as part of a team.

OBJECTIVE: Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Merger and Acquisition Assistant drives Rubicon’s growth by identifying exciting and strategic acquisition opportunities across existing and future markets – and then working to make them happen. Focusing on merger-and-acquisition, investment, scouting, strategy, and integration, we're dedicated to identifying the business opportunities of tomorrow. We drive team decisions, lead negotiations, and help run post-acquisition integration and performance evaluation.
